Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with us! Every order you place helps support the World Down Syndrome Day campaign and our ongoing advocacy work. As a charity-focused initiative, we appreciate your patience and support as we process your orders.

 

1. Processing Time

 

  • Standard Orders: We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders within 3–5 business days.

  • High Volume Periods: During the peak #LotsOfSocks campaign season (January–March), processing times may be slightly longer due to the high volume of support. We appreciate your understanding!

 

2. Pre-Order Policy (Important)

 

To minimize environmental impact and shipping costs for the charity:

  • If your order contains both in-stock items and pre-order items, we will hold your entire order until the pre-order items have arrived.

  • If you need your in-stock items sooner, please place two separate orders.

 

3. Shipping Rates & Estimates

 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Domestic Shipping:  2–5 business days after dispatch

  • International Shipping: 10–20 business days after dispatch

Please note: Delivery delays can occasionally occur with postal carriers, which are outside of our control.

 

4. International Orders & Customs Duties

 

For orders shipped outside of the UK:

  • Customs Fees: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country.

  • Who pays? World Down Syndrome Day Shop is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and they are your responsibility as the customer.

 

5. Tracking Your Order

 

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

 

6. Lost or Missing Packages

 

If your tracking information states that your package was delivered, but you have not received it, please check with your neighbors or your local post office.

  • If the package is still missing, please contact us at shop@ds-int.org

  • Note: We are not responsible for packages that are lost due to an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout.
