The inspiration comes from Sharan’s nearly 2-year-old son. Her message resonated deeply with us, and we know it will with you too:

“Along the journey I have heard people make comments like, ‘oh never mind he will be able to do most things maybe’, ‘he won’t be able to do that’... One of the things most important to me is making sure my son knows he can reach for the stars, just because he has DS doesn’t mean he can’t do things. This design is to show how anyone with or without DS can reach for the stars and we as adults need to make sure children know this and don’t hear the words ‘you can’t or won’t be able to’.”
